Coronavirus (COVID-19) Patient in Cagayan de Oro Dies around 9 pm (Friday, March 13, 2020). The death toll now is 6 in the Philippines, with 64 confirmed cases, admitted PUIs is 108 and 689 discharged PUIs. According to GMA 7 reports, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Patient in Cagayan de Oro was referred to Patient 40 (PH40) died at 9 p.m. while confined at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC).

The COVID-19 patient had no travel history abroad and was tested positive on March 11. The patient’s blood pressure dropped to zero, cause of his death.

On the Facebook page of One Mindanao, “Kinumpirma ng DOH Region 10 na binawian na ng buhay si Patient 40 (PH40), alas 9, Biyernes ng gabi, na naka-confine sa Northern Mindanao Medical Center sa Cagayan de Oro City.”

As of March 14, 2020, the latest update of Coronavirus Worldwide, more than 145,630 people have been infected and over 5,423 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, have reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 71,162 recovered from the epidemic disease.
