The longest drama anthology MMK or “Maalala Mo Kaya” is set to be in the big screens after the top executives of ABS-CBN spearheaded by Charo Santos Concio approved the said project under the production of Star Cinema.
The said latest movie is the compilation of MMK classics which is digitally stored with state of the art restoring gadgets and apparatus.
Its latest screening is held at the University of the Philippines directed by the award winning director Olivia Lamasan there also are the original casts namely Aiko Melendez, Richard Gomez, Robert Arevalo and the veteran award winning actress Caridad Sanchez.
According to Santos she is excited to the upcoming restoration project and expressed her full support on it, she also encourage the ABS-CBN archives head Leo Katigbak to do his best to make the project successful intended for the younger generation to experience top class story telling performances that could inspire them and let the be aware about the culture and history of the Filipino people.
With regards to direct Lamasan she is happy for given a chance to direct such an amazing project, she also revealed that MMK is considered to be her steppingstone on the directing.
Meanwhile everyone is excited towards the upcoming project and hopefully this will be available on the big screen right away.
