The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) officially unveiled its state-of-the-art Philippine Lottery System (PLS) this Sunday. In an official statement released on Monday, the PCSO highlighted the numerous advantages that the new PLS brings, such as centralizing sales reports, generating winning numbers, and enhancing ticket validation accessibility. These enhancements are poised to significantly boost efficiency and transparency for both the PCSO and lotto enthusiasts.
PCSO General Manager Mel Robles and other agency officials, joined by representatives from the Commission On Audit, personally oversaw the seamless transition from the old lottery system to the cutting-edge technology now in place. This transformation, aligned with global standards, took place at the PLS Command and Control Center, situated within the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
“We are thrilled to embark on this significant transition towards automation of our system for our lotto games. The Philippine Lottery System Project is a testament to our commitment to innovation and providing the best experience for our valued customers,” said GM Robles.
“Through this joint venture with Philippine Gaming and Management Corporation, Pacific Online Systems Corporation, and International Lottery Totalizator System Inc., we will bring about a new era of efficiency, transparency, and convenience in lottery operations. All lottery operations are now seamlessly integrated into a unified platform,” he added.
