SM Prime, which invested between P1.5 billion and P2.5 billion to renovate the Iloilo Central Market and the Iloilo Terminal Market into hygienic, secure, and effective commercial centers, entered into a 25-year leasing agreement with the Iloilo City Government.

There are currently about 2,000 stalls in the reconstructed markets, offering improved facilities for vendors and a more comfortable and well-organized shopping experience for customers.
