
MANILA — For his 84th birthday, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez celebrated with his family, which included Annabelle Rama, his children Tonton, Monching, Ruffa, Mond, Chard, Rocky, and Elvis, as well as his granddaughters, Janine and Diego Gutierrez, among others.
During the birthday meal, Tito Eddie was serenaded by guests, including Janine, Donita Rose’s husband, Felson Palad, Pops Fernandez, Vina Morales, and Jericho Rosales.
Lorna Tolentino, Sunshine Cruz, Bianca Manalo, Donita Rose, Hayden Kho, Bubbles Paraiso, Tirso Cruz III, and others were also seen at the event.

Beyond his on-screen legacy, he is also known as the patriarch of a celebrated showbiz family, with sons Ramon Christopher, Eddie Gutierrez Jr., and international star Richard Gutierrez continuing his legacy in the industry.
Those close to the actor shared that Gutierrez remains focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, keeping a positive mindset, and enjoying time with his family. The legendary actor openly brought up the false information that surfaced last week during his thank-you address, claiming that he had already died.
Then she said to the visitors, “Tuwang-tuwa naman ako na nandito kayo ngayon para patunayan na si Eduardo ay hindi patay. Buhay na buhay.”
Ruffa says her father will return to Singapore in April for additional examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
To strengthen his body, Tito Eddie is currently participating in regular morning swimming workouts and therapy.
As he celebrates his 84th year, Eddie Gutierrez’s message is clear: life is meant to be lived fully, no matter the age.
With his infectious energy and timeless appeal, the screen legend once again proved that he is, indeed, “buhay na buhay pa.”
