MANILA — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Friday that effective on February 1, the minimum jackpot prizes for all of its major games will increase.

The minimum jackpot reward under the revised prize structure was P10 million for Lotto 6/42, P15 million for Mega Lotto 6/45, P25 million for Super Lotto 6/55, P45 million for Grand Lotto 6/55, and P75 million for Ultra Lotto 6/58.

According to a press release from the PCSO, “these enhancements include a measured adjustment in ticket prices, the move is designed to offer players a more competitive ‘risk-to-reward’ ratio.”

“More importantly, the increased participation fueled by these larger jackpots directly expands the funds generated for the PCSO’s vital mission: providing health, medical assistance, and social welfare programs to millions of Filipinos,” the statement continued.

The PCSO confirmed that ticket prices will increase from P20 to P25.

The progressive jackpot system was observed to be unchanged. The jackpot will keep rising until a fortunate player matches all six numbers if no winner is declared in a draw.

In a statement, PCSO said the adjustment aims to further boost public interest in Lotto games while ensuring that prize structures remain competitive and aligned with current market conditions. The agency noted that the increase applies to selected Lotto variants under its regular draws.

PCSO officials explained that higher minimum prizes are intended to attract more participants, which in turn helps sustain funding for the agency’s charity and health programs, including medical assistance, hospital support, and other social services.

PCSO emphasized that proceeds from Lotto ticket sales continue to fund its mandate of providing financial assistance to indigent patients and partner institutions nationwide.

The agency also reminded the public to play responsibly, stressing that Lotto games are meant for entertainment and charity support.

Further details on the updated minimum jackpot amounts are expected to be released through PCSO’s official channels ahead of the February 1 implementation.
