MANILA — Cebu Pacific will begin operating direct flights to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in March 2026.
Cebu Pacific announced in a statement that it will begin operating flights to Riyadh on March 1. There are flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Manila to Riyadh and on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Riyadh to Manila.
Additionally, the low-cost airline said that it is launching a seat sale for the flights. From December 9 to 13, travelers may book their flights for as little as P1 one-way base fare. From March 1 until October 28, 2026, they can take off at any time.
Those who make reservations between December 9 and December 31 can also select their own seats, purchase meals, and receive a larger baggage allowance at reduced prices.
When compared to other travel options, Cebu Pacific’s Manila-Riyadh route helps Filipinos save up to 57% on round-trip airline rates.
“Our OFWs in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East make tremendous sacrifices to support their families and contribute to the Philippine economy. Launching our Manila–Riyadh service is one way we honor their hard work, making it easier and more affordable for them to fly home,” stated Xander Lao, president and chief commercial officer of Cebu Pacific.
The airline stated that the Riyadh route is its fourth long-haul destination, after Sydney and Melbourne in Australia and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Cebu Pacific announced in August that it was expanding flights at its current hubs in order to accelerate expansion.
Travel agencies and Filipino communities in Saudi Arabia have welcomed the announcement, citing that direct flights will reduce travel costs and simplify itineraries.
Cebu Pacific’s expansion to Riyadh aligns with its broader strategy to grow its international network and cater to the Filipino diaspora worldwide. The airline continues to explore new destinations to meet rising passenger demand and contribute to the Philippines’ aviation industry recovery post-pandemic.
