On Friday night, December 5, 2025, three guys connected to a string of robberies in Rodriguez, Rizal, and nearby cities including Quezon City were taken into custody.

Two of the suspects, alias Marvin, 21, and alias Kalbo, 33, reportedly went into a burger restaurant on Friday morning and announced a holdup, according to Rodriguez Police.

They allegedly took a tablet and P5,000 in cash from the store’s 19-year-old female security guard.

Last November, Ryan, a 21-year-old alias, joined them in a brawl at a gadget shop.

“Tinakot, holdap daw, kinuha ‘yung pera.

The three were also taken into arrest that evening in Barangay San Isidro as part of a follow-up operation.

They were found with the motorcycle that was used as a getaway car during the crime, a .38 caliber revolver, and two homemade firearms that were all loaded with ammo.

The money and stolen items were not recovered.

The three confessed to the crime. They declared that they would fight.

Rodriguez police have stepped up Operation Sita and are still working with the barangay to patrol the entire town.

Gaffud.

Robbery Hold-up and Illegal Possession of Firearms are the charges against the accused, who are being held at the Rodriguez PNP custody facility.
