Jo Bo-ah’s management organization revealed on Tuesday that the South Korean actress is expecting her first child.

According to Korean entertainment news portal Soompi, XYZ Studio acknowledged the 34-year-old star’s pregnancy in response to media reports.

The corporation stated, “Actress Jo Bo-ah is expecting a child,” in an English-language statement that Soompi published in its entirety.

“We ask that you watch over her with warm blessings, and we ask for your generous understanding that we cannot share further details including her due date,” it continued.

With 1.5 million Instagram followers, Bo-ah is well-known for her main parts in dramas including “Forest,” “Tale of the Nine Tailed,” “Military Prosecutor Doberman,” and “Destined With You.”

She married her longtime boyfriend, a non-celebrity, in a private ceremony earlier this year. The couple has kept their relationship largely out of the public eye, focusing on their personal happiness.

Bo-ah played the daughter of a powerful clan who looks for her long-lost half-brother in Netflix’s historical mystery series “Dear Hongrang,” which debuted earlier this year.
