With the theme “Halo-halo, Sapin-sapin, Sabay-sabay,” the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival (PPMF) is returning to honor the variety and inventiveness of Filipino music.
The festival highlights how Pinoy music is, first, a multi-layered fusion of flavors and influences (halo-halo); second, a tapestry of overlapping inspirations over time (sapin-sapin); and third, a sound that Filipinos immediately and instinctively embrace (sabay-sabay).
KIKX & Day One, Somatosonic, The Brat Pack, Gab Cabangon, The Bloomfields, Tres Marias, Trina Belamide, Dingdong Avanzado, Bugoy, and many more are on the roster this year.

The APO Hiking Society, Lorrie Ilustre, and Homer Flores are this year’s Ryan Cayabyab honorees from PPMF.
To honor the awardees, the night will feature special performances by Zsa-Zsa Padilla, Nicole Asencio, The Itchyworms, and more. Additionally, there will be a special segment called Musik-A-laala that honors Ms. Pilita Corrales and legendary National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Nora Aunor with special tribute performances.
Additionally, PPMF 2025 will include “PPMF Conversations,” which will be open and educational forums. This year’s topics will be “Outliving the Uso,” where Padilla and Cayabyab will discuss what it’s like to live through the highs and lows of a life in music; “Music as Medicine,” where medical students and researchers Justine Regala and Kasandra Tan will discuss the role of neuroarts in healing our bodies and souls; and “Musikastorya: 3 OPM Books in focus,” which will show support for books by Krina Cayabyab, Jim Paredes, and Susan Claire Agbayani.
From November 28 to 30, all of the activities will take place at the BGC Arts Center’s three stages: Sun Life Amphitheater, Zobel de Ayala Recital Hall, and Globe Auditorium.
PPMF 2025, which is organized by Cayabyab, Moy Ortiz, Noel Ferrer, and Maria Isabel Garcia, encourages everyone to honor the various voices, tales, and sounds that define Filipino music.
