On Friday, November 24, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) unveiled the outcomes of the November 2023 Civil Engineering (CE) board exam, encompassing details about the top-performing schools and the overall performance of various institutions.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the second Civil Engineering licensure exam of the year on November 17 and 18 across various cities, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.

Here’s the performance of schools in the November 2023 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation”:
PAST EXAMINATIONS
During the April 2023 Civil Engineer board exams, De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila emerged as the leading school, achieving an impressive passing rate of 88.99%, with 97 out of 109 candidates successfully passing. Following closely, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) secured the second position with a commendable passing rate of 81.52%, as 75 out of 92 examinees successfully cleared the exams.
In the November 2022 Civil Engineer board exams, the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman claimed the top spot among schools, achieving a remarkable passing rate of 95.45%. A total of 105 out of 110 candidates from UP-Diliman successfully passed the exams. Following closely, UP-Los Baños secured the second position with a passing rate of 92.75%, as 64 out of 69 candidates passed the examinations.
Moving back to the May 2022 Civil Engineer licensure exams, UPLB led the schools with a passing rate of 95.00%, as 76 out of 80 candidates successfully cleared the exams. UP-Diliman followed closely with a passing rate of 94.57%, as 87 out of 92 examinees passed.
In the November 2021 Civil Engineer exams, UP-Diliman stood out as the sole top-performing school, achieving a notable passing rate of 92.86%. A total of 52 out of 56 candidates from UP-Diliman successfully passed the examinations.
Turning back to the November 2019 CE licensure exams, Carlos A. Hidalgo Memorial State College-Talisay excelled as the top-performing school, achieving an exceptional passing rate of 98.00%. A total of 49 out of 50 candidates from Carlos A. Hidalgo Memorial State College-Talisay successfully passed. Following closely, UPLB secured the second position with a passing rate of 96.92%, as 63 out of 65 candidates successfully cleared the exams.
