Wilfredo Gonzales, the ex-police officer widely recognized for his infamous road rage incident, asserted his defense during a Senate inquiry held in Pasay on Tuesday.

“Kasi Biktima rin ho ako dito eh/ Nawalan ako ng trabaho. Na-ano ako sa social media, mga anak ko, Pamilya ko. Kung hindi naman ho sinuntok ‘yung kotse ko, siguro ‘yung bangga lang ho sa bumper ko, pagpapasensyahan ko na.”

Former police officer Wilfredo Gonzales said in the Senate panel hearing this Tuesday that he was also just a victim of the road rage incident that went viral on social media. Gonzales as well as cyclist Allan Bandiola appeared before the senate.
