The results of the August 2023 Criminologist Board Exam, also known as the Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE), including the list of passers in alphabetical order, the top 10 achievers (topnotchers), the top-performing school, and the overall school performances, are anticipated to be published online by September 29, 2023. This release will occur within 25 working days from the conclusion of the examination period.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology successfully conducted the second Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) of the year on August 25 to 27 (Friday to Sunday). The examination took place across multiple locations, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, as well as Antique, Bacolod, Bohol, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Naga, Palawan, Valencia, and in the Municipalities of Rosales, Bayambang (Pangasinan).

The original examination dates were planned for November 24-26, 2023. However, the PRC, along with the Board of Directors and the Board of Criminology, collectively decided to reschedule the Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE). This adjustment was made to alleviate the logistical challenges faced by the Regional Offices and the Licensure Office when orchestrating such a comprehensive examination.
The Board of Criminology is constituted of the following members: Chairman Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, and Members Hon. Lani T. Palmones, and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. Visit the official website of PRC (https://online.prc.gov.ph/) and follow the instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
Notice of admission (for identification only)
2 pieces passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
2 sets of documentary stamps
1 piece short brown envelope
The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
The criminology board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers, and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in a few working days after the release of the results.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The August 2023 Criminologist Board exam covered the following subjects:
criminal law, jurisprudence and procedure, and law enforcement administration (Day 1)
crime detection and investigation and forensic science (Day 2)
correctional administration and criminology (Day 3).
