Magallanes Coliseum in Masbate City, Masbate was partially damaged after a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hits the city at 2:10 AM today. The city reportedly felt Intensity VII during the earthquake.
OCD-5 said the local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices are now conducting assessments of the affected areas.
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake hits Batuan, Masbate at 2:10 AM today, according to PHIVOLCS. It has a depth of 10 km. Aftershocks and damages are possible.
The earthquake was widely felt at parts of Masbate, Albay, Sorsogon, Camarines Sur, Romblon, Samar, Northern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Cebu, Aklan, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, and Capiz.
