PRC announced that 3,826 out of 5,958 (64.22%) successfully passed the exams. The results of examination with respect to eighteen (18) examinees were withheld as per PRC Resolution No. 1565, 1579, 1580, 1583 s.2022 and Board Resolution No.13 and 14 s.2022.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the second Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on October 21, 22, 28 and 29.
Justin Adriel Zent Gautier Togonon of Iloilo City ranked number 1 in the Physician Licensure Examination. In Thursday’s announcement of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Togonon garnered a rating of 89% in the exam taken last October 2022.
The 25-year-old is a graduate of University of the Philippines (UP Manila). Togonon was also a class valedictorian of the Philippines Science High School– Western Visayas Campus. He graduated elementary from Children’s Integrated School of Alta Tierra. Both schools are in Iloilo City.

The PLE or medicine board exam covered the following subjects:
October 21: biochemistry, anatomy and histology, microbiology and parasitology.
October 22: physiology, legal medicine, ethics and medical jurisprudence and pathology.
October 28: pharmacology and therapeutics surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine.
October 29: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition and preventive medicine and public health.
