Some fans of Moira Dela Torre and Jason Marvin Hernandez appear to be yearning for the former couple’s reconciliation, but the “Babalik Sa ‘Yo” singer had to break the news to them and clarify that the song is not a “sign” of the duo reconciling.

Dela Torre set the record straight when a netizen commented on her latest performance of the song, which was captured in a video posted to Dela Torre’s Facebook page yesterday, Sept. 19.

“‘Babalik Sa’yo’… Is this a sign [of] their love reconciliation?” Amabelle L. Lim inquired, presumably alluding to Dela Torre and Hernandez.

“Nope,” Moira answered.

Dela Torre created the video to thank fans for their support of the song, but she reminded them that it is only a song and that they should not be “marupok.”

Dela Torre and Hernandez, who married in 2019, announced their divorce on May 31, with the latter admitting he cheated on her. Dela Torre originally remained silent on the topic, but ultimately broke her silence, denying rumors that she, too, had cheated on him.

Meanwhile, Hernandez just released “Ako Nalang,” a song that fans assume is about his separation with Dela Torre.
