Using DJ Loonyo’s screen captures, he discovered that Janine had created a Facebook cover picture of a dancer jokes.
The meme is about a purported request to rename NAIA “DJ Loonyo International Airport.”
The proposal’s label claims that he is deserving since “DJ is the only hero (hawak bayag dance step).”
That irritated DJ Loonyo.
He sent Janine the following private message (which has been published in its entirety): “Sorry, ma’am [praying emoji]
“May natitira pa po ba kayong respeto? may nagawa ba ako sayong mali? “
Janine responded, claiming she was only making a joke.
“Hello po! It’s really just a meme that I found super funny. I found it online. I didn’t really mean any harm.
“Ano po kaya context ng meme? 🙂 i just thought it meant to change the name of the airport to you like poking fun: D”
“@janineberdin Ur better than that for sure. Godbless your soul. Weird shit.”
DJ Loonyo seems to be dismayed since he did not expect an industry colleague to create a meme for him.
“Kung wala kayong magawa, pagtripan niyo sarili niyo wag ibang tao,” he added (as published).
“Maging sensitive tayo minsan, di natin alam pinagdadaanan ng isa’t isa satin.
“In-expect ko yung mga matagal na or kahit papano nauna sa industriya ay kahit papano alam ang ‘RESPETO NA LANG SANA’.
“Pero para katuwaan, sigeeee, Go lang, kahit iba na yung napuntahan ng KATUWAAN.
“Weird shit!!!
“PANGALAN MO SAYO YUNG AIRPORT, Baka ikaw yung may gusto hindi ako.”
Janine responded to DJ Loonyo’s publicizing their private conversation in a different Instagram Story.
Janine clarified that she had no ill will in posting the DJ Loonyo meme.
That meme, according to Janine, is “satire.”
He added: “People use my name to poke fun all the time as well. Hell people talk shit and laugh at me as well.
“I’m not saying that’s what the meme was doing kasi it wasn’t meant to be degrading at all.. but yeah! It’s what comes along when you’re a public figure. no big! smile po kayo!”
