The third season of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” will adapt the Swordsmith Village Arc, according to a Twitter announcement.

The announcement was made just after the show premiered the final episode of the second part of Season 2, which covered the Entertainment District Arc. The first part, Mugen Train Arc, premiered last October.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who embarks on the adventure of becoming a demon slayer after his family is attacked and killed and his younger sister Nezuko is ended up turning into a demon. Two new major characters are introduced in the teaser trailers: Mist Hashira (Muichiro Tokito) and Love Hashira (Mitsuri Kanroji).
