More than 1,000 pills of the party drug ecstasy were found at Pasay City’s Central Mail Exchange Center. It was located during a customs inspection of five distinct shipments.

The pills are packaged in two separate envelopes from Germany and the Netherlands. At the NAIA, the packages were subjected to X-ray examination for suspected materials, and 26.4 grams of ecstasy were seized.

More than P2 million in cash was confiscated. The authorities currently in custody of the recovered drug, and the claim is still being investigated.
