John en Ellen’s Season 2 ended on August 1, 2021. The sitcom was expected to have Season 3, but Ellen was no longer included in it.

Ellen resigned as John’s leading lady before the controversy erupted over the actress’ cut-off from the show and her walkout from the set on their last taping day on June 25.
