Ilonggo City (Iloilo City) Mayor Jerry P. Treñas plans to declare social media personality Jam Magno as a Persona Non-Grata after her strained and unjustified criticism of Ilongga beauty queen Miss Universe- Philippine Rabiya Mateo.

Jam Magno is a critic of Miss Universe candidate Rabiya Mateo, and a pro-government influencer.

As for Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas regarding the move, if the Ilonggos see it as a good thing to do, he will support it. The people of Iloilo City also came together today to cheer for Rabiya Mateo who represents the country at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.

Mayor Treñas told reporters on Sunday that “If Ilonggos think she deserves it, why not?”

An unverified Twitter user named Jam Magno responded to the Mayor’s statement: “Funny how so many are critical of Rabiya saying much worse things than me. And yet you all focus on just me. You can keep Ilo-ilo. Since I doubt you’ll get the Universe anyway. Winking face.”“Maliit lang naman ang Iloilo, so wala akong pakialam pati sa mayor nyo,” she said.
