A woman planning to jump into a river in Ormoc City viral on social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. The PNP, BFP, and Mayor of Ormoc City Richard Gomez joined the rescue operation.

In a Facebook post by the City Government of Ormoc, “Personal nga mipaabot sa iyang tabang si Mayor Richard Gomez uban sa Ormoc Rescue Team sa usa ka attempted suicide incident sa Barangay Cabulihan, Ormoc City, December 28, 2020.”

Jessa’s family asked netizens to stop making fun of her, instead, show empathy to Jessa because you did not know the full story.

Instead, let us pray that the couple will be able to cope with the trials of their lives and that they will raise the child to follow the right path.

They also call on those of us who have the heart to give help even to the child such as milk, diapers, and so on. Jessa is currently in poor condition, according to her guardian Rovelin Agner.

Ma’am Agner added that Jessa should have been taken to the hospital but the family insisted that only one person would be able to recover at home due to the difficulty of the situation, however, they also had medicines to take.
