Kapuso TV host Willie Revillame donated P5 million in cash aid to residents of Catanduanes days after Bagyong Rolly severely damaged the province. Catanduanes resident Elizabeth Español sought help from Revillame, “Kuya Willie, nakikiusap ako sa inyo, lahat lahat ‘di kami mabubuhay dahil ang aming mga tinanim naubos. Isa akong ano ng agriculture pero saan kami magtatanim? Kailan pa kami kakain? Kailan pa mabubuhay ang tao? Abaca ang inaano namin dito pero nasaan? Wala.”

Revillame went to Catanduanes to meet Español and to distribute medicines, blankets, and jackets among the affected residents. Willie Revillame gives 100, 000 pesos to Elizabeth Español and he donated P5 million to the residents of Catanduanes.

According to the host/actor, “According to Revillame, “accutually dun palang sa paglipat mo, nakita mo na yung mga tahanan na walang bubung, yun nalang nararamdam mo na nalulungkot kana.”
