At 3pm this afternoon, ANC and Teleradyo is broadcasting a full coverage of #RollyPH while GMA News TV is airing a dubbed Thai TV show. According to NETIZENS, “Checked GMA News TV (Channel 24 Sky Cable) and they are airing a Filipino dubbed hollywod movie while ABS-CBN Teleradyo may special coverage about sa bagyo. Sino ulit ang walang franchise?”

GMA News TV is trending for not airing actual reports/ updates on Typhoon Rolly.

According to Abel S (Twitter Account), Salute to ABS-CBN for the full coverage of #RollyPh even without a franchise. While GMA News TV, PTV 4, and others with franchises were not.

In contrast, ABS-CBN has Teleradyo Special Coverage about #RollyPh on YouTube, which has almost 70k live viewers as of writing. Even without a franchise, it still remains true to its slogan, “in the service of the Filipino.”

On the forecast track, “ROLLY” is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday morning. It is likely to remain as a tropical storm throughout the forecast period.
