Manila, Sen. Manny Pacquiao and friends will sponsor the broadcasting cost of 13 DepEd channels.
The said channel is responsible for airing educational learning to various students amid this COVID-19 pandemic.
The estimated cost of broadcasting will range up to 10 million pesos daily.
The boxing champion quoted we have already find ways to air the 13 TV channels free from charge to students and no need for government spending.
“Nagawan namin ng paraan para may magamit na 13 TV Channels ang DepEd nang walang gastos para sa gobyerno at mga estudyante,” Pacquiao quoted
The 41 year old boxing icon added that the internet capacity of the country is not at its 100 percent, even you can buy laptops and gadgets needed for online classes it does not assures that the formulated learning from DepEd will reach on each students doors.
Pacquiao together with his boxing camp is doing its best effort to raise fund for broadcasting sustainance.
Social and distance learning is now pushed by DepEd during this COVID-19 outbreak to ensure the safety of the students this school year opening. Some steps advised by the department is to hold classes online, modular or even one on one teaching.
This is a great challenge but this will be overcome. Thanks to those unselfish public servant that is willing to disregard their personal interest and aims for the welfare of the people. We salute you sir!
