ABS-CBN Chairman Gabby Lopez III has earlier published a statement regarding his resignation as Chairman Emeritus and Director of ABS-CBN.

As per the report, the Board of Directors of the ABS-CBN corporation fully accepted with regret Lopez’s resignation.

However, the Board still emphasized that his dedication and leadership transformed ABS-CBN beyond television throughout his stint.

“Mr. Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III, today, rendered his resignation for personal reasons as Chairman Emeritus and Director of ABS-CBN Corporation. Mr. Lopez also tendered his resignation as director of ABS-CBN Holdings Corporations, Sky Vision Corporation, Sky Cable Corporation, First Philippine Holdings Corporation, First Gen Corporation, and Rockwell Land Corporation effective immediately”.
