Korean celebrity couple, Jo Jung Suk and Gummy, welcomed their first born child.

According to Soompi, the couple are now parents as Jo Jung Suk’s agency confirmed it by releasing the following statement:

This is JAM Entertainment. We are sharing news that actor Jo Jung Suk and singer Gummy have welcomed a new family member, and the mother and baby are both healthy. Gummy gave birth to their first daughter at a hospital in Seoul on the morning of August 6. The couple and their family are overjoyed at the birth of their first child. We express sincere gratitude for the support and congratulatory messages from many people, and we ask for blessings towards their family that has welcomed a new family member.

Jo Jung Suk and Gummy have been dating since 2013 and their relationship was revealed on 2015. They got married privately on the year 2018. Gummy’s pregnancy was revealed on January 6 this year through her agency, C-JeS Entertainment.

“It’s true that Gummy is pregnant.” the agency confirmed.

“Jo Jung Suk and Gummy are very happy about their first pregnancy. Gummy is currently seven weeks along and as she is still in the early stages of her pregnancy, she will be minimizing her activities and focusing on her pregnancy for the time being. We ask for your warm support and blessings.”
