Radio star DJ Chacha announced that the ABS-CBN’s FM station MOR 101.9’s operation will close, DJ Chacha said on Thursday.

As we all know, the giant network, ABS-CBN has recently shut down after the majority of the lawmakers voted 11-70 for its franchise application to be junked.

Due to that, famous personalities as well as the celebrities and employees of the network are worried about the workers who lost their jobs amid the pandemic.

However, on Wednesday, the ABS-CBN executives hold a town hall meeting wherein the employees of the company and the executives were there to discuss matters after the House panel denied its franchise. The management also announced the laying off of workers starting August 31, 2020.

The company said they will give the separation pay and the retirement benefits. They will also offer programs that will help their former employees find new work.

As of Thursday, July 16, radio star DJ Chacha of MOR 101.9, posted on her Instagram account and announce to the public the closure of Kapamilya network’s FM station’s operation.

She posted an emotional post on her IG account to air her grief.

According to DJ Chacha, she could not believe that she saying her farewell to her first love and her dream job. She has been part of the FM station since 2008.

“One of the lowest points of my life. I still can’t believe I have to say goodbye to my first love. My forever love. My dream job. 12 years. This is not just work for me. This not just about money. I LOVE THIS STATION SO MUCH. Really really really brokenhearted right now,” she wrote.
