Later at 9AM, House of Representative’s hearing for ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal will take place. Today, June 1, 2020, will be the House of Representatives’ next hearing of the ABS-CBN franchise. Last session hearing, House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta wants congress to deny ABS-CBN franchise using Kim Chui’s viral video and Vice Ganda’s Challenge to Quiboloy as exhibits.

According to Mr. Katigbak, “We commit that even after receiving our franchise, we will have the humility to listen to the public on how ABS-CBN can continually be of better service to our country. “ 

The hashtag #IbalikAngABSCBN is now trending on Twitter. The legislative franchise of ABS-CBN expires on Monday, May 4, 2020.  “The law is the law, we agree. Under the law, we are innocent until proven guilty.” – ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak on already disproven allegations vs the network at the House hearing on the ABS-CBN franchise renewal.
