Live-in students were arrested through buy-bust operation by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) in Baguio City. Suspected shabu worth P340,000 were confiscated from a 20 and 19 years old suspects.

Meanwhile in Zamboanga del Sur, PDEA and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit caught the negotiation of drugs inside a lodging house in Pagadian City. Two targets were arrested identified as Kenneth Gambol and Adrian Orbesido. Retrieved from the suspects were marked money worth at about P500 and three sachets of shabu. Gambol, that was previously imprisoned because of drugs, admitted that he owned the drugs. On the other hand, Orbesido denied that he is a drug pusher and user. 

In Lantaban bukidnon, a teacher were caught in a seperate buy-bust operation. Two sachets of suspected shabu and marked money were confiscated.
