Viral now in social media and top trending video on Youtube is the actual call of sympathy from Kapamilya station viewers of ABS CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak.

According to Katigbak from the start of the pandemic, the news team almost give their best to bring the latest news to keep its viewers informed for the safety of all.

The station also started its steps to help the poor Filipinos who are badly hit by the collateral damage of the virus by providing them relief goods to feed the poorest of the poor.

Furthermore CEO Carlo Katigbak now asks for viewers’ sympathy to help them go on air again.

Katigbak “Ngayon po dumating na ang araw na kami po ay dumudulog sa inyo, hindi po kami binigyan ng NTC ng lisensya para sa patuloy na pag lilingkod ng ABS CBN kaya mawawala napo sa ere and ating ABS-CBN ginawa napo namin ang lahat na requirements at wala po kaming nilabag na batas, Katigbak added that the Congress had actually stated that the station can be given a provisional authority to operate”

It is remembered NTC issues an order to stop the broadcasting activity of the station due to expired franchise.

As of now the station remains close and waiting for the final decision of the Congress.

What matters most is the number of people that will become jobless due to closure of the station, hopefully this will be given a fair justification considering the fact that the country is now facing a economic depression and COVID-19 pandemic.
