Miss Eco International 2019 Suheyn Cipriani of Peru was dethroned due to the fact that she was indeed pregnant.
This news was confirmed by the franchise holder of Miss World-Philippines, Arnold Vegafria and was reported by PEP Troika.
Maureen Montagne, representing the Philippines, was crowned as the first runner up of the competition. It is also said that Maureen is one of the candidates for Binibining Pilipinas this year 2020.
They still need to confirm before transferring the Miss Eco International 2019 title to Maureen even though it was announced that the Binibining Pilipinas Coronation was postponed.
Arnold stated that if the crown will surely be transferred to Maureen, she will automatically be the ambassador of United Nations for Eco-Tourism.
The Miss Eco International will still pursue and will be held on Egypt this coming August.
Maureen Montagne recently posted on her Instagram, as she was spending her quarantine days in Siargao.
