Recently, there are 28 Bacolodnon OFWs, who were quarantined at the Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School in Bacolod upon their arrival on April 28, have been transferred to a tourist inn in this city today [May 2], in continuation of their 14-day quarantine.

According to Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque confirms the extension of Bacolod City enhances community quarantine status extension to May 15, 2020. There are selected areas have been in total lockdown due to the residents have been positive by deadly disease COVID-19.
As of 4PM today, May 2, 2020, the Department of Health reports 156 new cases (PH8773-PH8928) of COVID-19. The total number of cases in the country is now at 8,928. DOH also announces 40 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 1,124.
