BACOLOD CITY, Mayor Bing Leonardia urged the use of HQP (Home Quarantine Pass) will be regulated if the city will be approved by IATF to be under General Community Quarantine.
It is remembered that last April 30, 2020, the LGU of Bacolod City filed a petition to the national government to extend the enhanced community quarantine status of the city for 15 days more.
According to Mayor Bing despite the city will be under gcq the home quarantine pass will be still used but regulated, he added the odd, even scheme is still implemented and in Sunday HQP will have no effect at all.
Meaning on weekdays and Saturday odd and even scheme is enforced but on Sunday the use of HQP is ineffective.
Furthermore, Leonardia added that Bacolod City will be back to normal in a slow and regulated basis knowing that base on the mandate of IATF there are categories of GCQ that have a 50% openings only.
With regards to the concern of the workers no need to have a HQP, the basis will be only your office uniforms, provided your company will be qualified for the 50% allowed to open under GCQ protocol.
Leonardia stressed out that despite the city is downgraded from Ecq to Gcq, the city must consider all steps to slowly go back to normal to ensure the safety of the citizens from COVID-19.
