BACOLOD CITY, will not be under quarantine starting May 16, 2020 (Saturday) following the mandate of IATF as a low risk area.

According to Mayor Bing Leonardia, he had no choice but to follow the national government order.

Vice Mayor El Cid Familiarian clarified despite the city will not be under quarantine anymore but this does not mean everything will go back to normal easily, there will still be guidelines to follow to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Mayor Leonardia recently calls for an emergency meeting with the COVID-19 exit planning team aiming to asses the situation and create a step to ensure the safety of the people.

Councilor Archie Baribar noted that it is mandatory to wear face mask and maintain social distancing or else you will be put to jail.

The city has 3 days more before May 15 and except the executive order will be out soon to serve as guidelines to follow.
