MANILA, Senators of the Philippines finally files a resolution to terminate DOH Sec. Francisco Duque.

Sen. Sotto, Zubiri, Poe, Recto, Angara, Binay, Pacquiao, Dela Rosa, Marcos, Lapid and felllow senators issues the petition due to Sec. Duque negligence of duty, incompetence, leadership, lack of foresight and inefficiency resulting of poor planning, delayed response, lack of transpanrency and low professionalism regarding the pandemic COVID-19.

It is really dissapointing in the part of DOH wherein since the beginning of the pandemic the health department showcase slow response towards the upcoming threat and even does not do and prepare the country on it’s aftermath.

DOH must be responsible for the preparation of health care facilities and for the worst-case scenario.

As of now the evidence of his incompetence is the death of health workers, failure to procure PPE as a protective equipment for doctors and health workers.

Meanwhile Sec. Duque is still mum on the resolution and still focus on his work on the agency.

According to some reports he is still overwhelmed regarding the pandemic which he is really mismanaged the situation.
