PHA (Philippine Heart Association) sadly announced that a young cardiologist died in the battle against COVID-19 while fulfilling his sworn duty as a doctor.

“It is a sad day for the whole association as we have lost one of our own in the fight against COVID. He is a casualty of this war. We honor him as he lost his young life while fulfilling his duties as a doctor, a young cardiologist and a dedicated member of PHA,”

The association was devastated of the news knowing the doctor is young but proves he has a patriotic heart for his fellowmen by means of risking his life as a frontliner against the deadly disease. Also the association honors his dedication to serve and a role model member to other aspiring cardioligist.

After what happened the PHA ask for prayers to the soul of the young hero doctor and to all fronliners specially to all doctors, nurses and healthworkers everyday risking their lives to take care of the COVID-19 patients

It is like while working their one feet is on the grave due to exposure of the virus.

For private reason and for the safety of the family the named of the doctor was not revealed.

As of now the total number of patients rise up to 307 COVID-19 positive cases with a record of 19 deaths and 13 fully recovered.

Still the country is still on State Of Calamity and the cities of Metro Manila is on total lockdown as per declaration of Pres. Duterte.

The frontliners urged that if you want to help them follow the mandates of the government, stay at home, keep away from crowded places, maintain a healthy body and do not be a hard headed citizen in the country.
