DOH: Wear “Red Arm Band” To Show Support For Health Workers Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

DOH (Department of Health) urges the public to wear red arm band to show support for the health workers and doctors battling against COVID-19.

According to Usec. Vergeire this is a sign of support to boost the morale of our hero doctors who are fighting on the frontlines and well as taking care of the patients infected by COVID-19.

 “I encourage everyone to wear this to show support for them,” she added.

DOH noted the front liners are the no.1 at risk they are the ones leading the fight against the deadly virus.

The latest fatality was Doctor Marcelo Jaochico serving remotes barriors of Calanasan Apayao.

This proves that even medical professional is vulnerable of the virus because their immune system weakens due to 24/7 monitoring of the patients current condition.

Once again if you are willing to help of hero medical professionals and health workers please stay at your respective houses avoid crowded places and maintain a healthy body.
