The Department of Health announced Wednesday night that a Filipino COVID-19 patient passed away in Manila. In a statement, the DOH said the victim was identified as Patient 35, a 67-year-old woman who was confined at Manila Doctors Hospital.
According to the DOH, the patient began to see symptoms on February 29. From 33, yesterday the number of confirmed COVOD-19 cases in the country has gone up to 49.
This is the second death of a COVID-19 in the country, following the death of a 44-year-old Chinese man in February.
