There are 3 Filipinos in Singapore tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19 Wednesday, according to the Singapore Ministry of Health. The first Filipino in Singapore positive for (COVID-19) is a 35-year-old Filipino woman who reported onset of symptoms on March 8 and sought treatment at the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), as she works as a staff nurse.
The second is a 35-year-old female Filipino, who is a relative of the 37-year-old man. The third confirmed case is a 42-year-old female who also flew to the Philippines from February 27 to March 2. She tested positive for the coronavirus disease on March 11. All three Filipinos are Singapore Work Pass holders.
Recently, as of Mach 12, 2020, the department of health confirms 49 cases of COVID-19. Novel Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) causes fever and cough for most people but can cause serious illness such as pneumonia. The latest update of Coronavirus Worldwide, more than 126,054 people have been infected and over 4,616 have died worldwide from the novel coronavirus, have reached some 80 countries and territories. There are 67,057 recovered from the epidemic disease.
