PHILIPPINES 32 Year OFW Mary Jane Reyes corpse arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Mary Jane was seen dead in maids quarters last January 13, 2020 and according to its employer.

According to her employer the cause of death is suffocation but the death certificate that is due to cardiac arrest.

Jonnalyn Luarza, the sister of the victim stressed “every night her sister uses charcoal as a means of heating herself because they are not allowed to use heater, she added her sister was sending photos of her and asking help the night she was spotted dead in the maids quarters.

Yong ate ko po, gabi-gabi na po siyang nagpapaningas ng uling po kasi po malamig po roon. Hindi naman sila nakakagamit ng heater kaya ‘yon na lang po ‘yong way niya para kahit papaano hindi siya lamigin doon.” dagdag ni Elaurza.

The family is amenable that the process of recruitment is without the prior notice of OWWA and they want to let the person involved to pay the price for her sister death, she also revealed that the irresponsible recruiter does not help the OFW knowing she needs help and in danger.

As of now the family of Mary Jane is asking justice and to reveiw its autopsy report to know the real cause of her death and to avoid any cover ups.

Meanwhile the OWWA is giving financial assitance to the surviving family.
