Viral now in social media is what happened to a Chinese couple who was allegedly scammed by a Filipino grab driver.

According to a certain netizen named Joanna Paballa Crisostomo, she and her husband found a Chinese couple in tears because they left their belongings like laptops bag and most importantly money to a certain taxi operated by grab. They tried to help them by locating the grab driver whereabouts upon located the taxi driver denied that the belongings of the Chinese and urged that he did not keep those things.

Julia and her husband tries to go to the police to file a complaint but the Chinese couple refused because they heard that Chinese citizen in the country are discriminated and criticized by the public.

Crisostomo noted “gusto ko sang pumunta sa mga pulis, pero ayaw nila kasi Chinese daw sila at nabalitaan nila sa new na ang mga tulad daw nila ay hindi tinutulungan sa bansa”

But Julia replied hindi naman po lahat ganon.

The main root of this discrimination is comes from the deadly coronavirus outbreak that is a worldwide epidemic around the world that affects many people around world, the said virus orginated at Wuhan China.
