Candidate No. 10, Shaira Marie Rona is born and raised in the City of Pampanga, but currently living in Mandaluyong City. She is a graduate of a Bachelor in Science in Human Resources Development Management from Rizal Technology University.

The 21-year-old Filipina beauty is not new in pageantry, she joins Miss RTU 2016 and represented her school in Miss PASUC NCR and winning it. She also competes in National Capital Region in Miss PASUC National where she got the second runner up. In 2018, she joins Miss Mandaluyong 2018 and represented her city in Miss Millennial Philippines 2018.

Shaira aims to promote sustainable tourism in the Philippines, and wants to raise awareness about the excessive use of plastic and how it contaminates the ocean. For me, Shaira is my bet to win a title on Binibining Pilipinas 2020.

Binibining Pilipinas International 2019 Patricia Magtanong will crown her successor at the end of the event. Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2019 Resham Saeed, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Maria Andrea Abesamis (assumed the position of Samantha Ashley Lo), Binibining Intercontinental 2019 Emma Tiglao, and Miss Globe 2019 2nd Runner-up Leren Bautista will crown their respective successors. Miss Universe Philippines has branched out from the competition this year into a separate pageant.

The 57th coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas will be held in Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. The Grand Coronation Night is scheduled to be held on April 26, 2020.
