Live: Houshenshan Hospital in Wuhan, China, Under Rapid Construction

Two prefab hospitals with a total capacity of up to 2,600 beds are under construction in central China’s Wuhan to treat coronavirus patients. About 4,000 workers are racing against the clock to build the two facilities and 100 heavy machines are being used.
Huoshenshan Hospital, with an area of 25,000 square meters and capacity for up to 1,000 beds, is expected to be put into use in three days. Leishenshan Hospital has a larger capacity of up to 1,600 beds and covers 75,000 square meters. It is expected to open by next Wednesday.
