Right before Christmas, December 24, 2019 around 2 P.M., a woman entered the McDonald’s and asked the employee to call 911. She also gave the employee the license plate of the car she’s using that time, asking them to hide her.
She attempted to place an order to the counter however the suspect, Eduardo Valenzuela, demanded her to take the drive-thru instead.
Upon arriving at the drive-thru area, she mouthed “Help me” to the employee. That time, deputies arrived and spoke with the employees. The employees told them that the woman was in the drive-thru line. The deputies ordered the woman to pull over as she was driving the car.
They investigated and learned that the woman has been receiving violence from her husband in the past. Eduardo Valenzuela told her that time to take him to visit his family and threatened her life using firearms. He was booked in the San Joaquin County Jail for criminal threats, stolen property, and felon (prohibited person) in possession of a firearm.
