There are automatic class suspensions due to storm warning signals:
Signal No. 1: Cancellation or suspension of classes at the pre-school level in the affected area
Signal No. 2: Cancellation or suspension of classes at the pre-school, elementary, and secondary level in the affected area
Signal No. 3 or higher: Cancellation or suspension of classes at the pre-school, elementary, and secondary and tertiary levels, including graduate schools in the affected area.

Updates of Super Typhoon “Lawin”, At 6:00 PM today, the eye of Super Typhoon #LawinPH was located based on all available data at 220 km East Southeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.0°N, 123.7°E), according to PAG-ASA.
PAG-ASA announce! The expected to make landfall over Cagayan – Isabela Area late tonight (11:00 PM) up to tomorrow early morning (Oct. 20), (2:00 AM) then will cross Apayao and Ilocos Norte.
Possible to exit PAR tomorrow evening (Oct. 20) or on Friday early morning (Oct. 21). The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions, PAG-ASA added.
