Congratulations! The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) announce the official results of April 2016 Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance and Promotional Examination within few working days after the last day of examination. We will post here the official results; Full List of Passers and Top 20 (TopNotchers) of PNP, Superintendent, Police Inspector, Senior Police Officer and Police Officer once available online.

NAPOLCOM administered the PNP entrance and promotional examinations to a total of 42, 848 examinees in designated testing centers nationwide.

The three-hour entrance examination for PNP entrance covered questions on general information, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning; while the promotional examinations include general information, police administration and operations, and police customs and tradition/values and ethical standards.

According to Mel Senen S. Sarmiento (NAPOLCOM Chairman and Interior and Local Government Secretary) stated that a total of 23,175 tried to hurdle the PNP entrance exam while 19,673 were distributed to the various promotional test categories which include Superintendent, Police Inspector, Senior Police Officer and Police Officer exam.

NAPOLCOM Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer Atty. Rogelio T. Casurao said that a total of 2,487 out of the 23,175 examinees for the PNP entrance test and 3,653 out of the 19,673 police examinees for promotional tests took the examination in the National Capital Region (NCR) testing centers, namely, Fort Bonifacio High School, Benigno Aquino High School, Makati High School and Pitogo High School, all in Makati City.

On April 26, 2015 examinations, results out online in more than 2 months or on July 7. Promotional police exams posted the highest passing rate in 24 years as 11,077 out of 21,650 or 51.16% of the examinees passed the tests. In the PNP entrance examination, a requirement for initial appointment to the rank of Police Officer 1 (PO1), only 2,110 or 16.33% of the 12,923 examinees passed

The Expected date of releasing the official results for April 2016 NAPOLCOM exam results is on 2-3 months or anytime in June to July 2016.

NAPOLCOM said that individual reports of rating will be mailed to all examinees. Verification of test results is being entertained at the NAPOLCOM central office and its regional offices nationwide.

The National Police Commission conducts two sets of police exam every year.

The PNP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION is open to all Filipino citizens who possess the age, height and educational requirements as provided in the PNP Examination announcement and for Police Officers I (PO1) whose appointments are temporary for lack of appropriate eligibility.
