It is also President Benigno Aquino III himself gave Instructions to offer a cash Reward,said DILG secretary Mel Sarmiento. It was around 7:30 am on Monday ,DILG Calabarzon Director Renato Brion was Ambushed in front of his office in Calamba City, Laguna. As DILG Secretary Mel Sarmiento said, “Brion is one of the respected leaders in the department who is a known as experts in the fields of local governance. Before his stint in Region IV-A, he was a regional Director in National Capital Region, Region III, Region II,and the Planning Service”.

Anyway,Brion is undergoing a medical treatment at the Calamba Medical Center and while Brion was recovering for what happened to him , the PNP or Philippine National Police has lunched a manhunt for the suspect. It was set that Brion will retire from government service in a few month’s time.
