April Boy Regino, The jukebox king in nineties performs on its ShowTime. During the program segment of it’s ShowTime called “Singing Mo To.” This is the first time that April Boy Regino performs live after a period of time for two years in showbiz. April Boy also gave baseball caps as he always does every time he performs.

Billy Crawford and Karylle Hosts of It’s Showtime asked the jukebox king about how he is doing and April Boy replied. “Eto po mabuti naman kaysa dati. Dalawang taon na, dalawang taon na akong ‘di nakaka-kanta. First time ko uling lumabas sa TV, maraming salamat sa (It’s) Showtime!”

After his reply the singer emotionally shared about his new album entitled Hesus Tanging Hiling.
“Sana po bumili po kayo ng aking bagong album. Christian album po ito, puro maka-Diyos na awitin at magaganda po ang laman po nito.”
He also gave a wonderful message to all his fans. he said.“Sana po kung nais niyo pong bumili ng aking album ito po’y kwento ng aking buhay. Dahil nagkaroon ng diperensya ang mata ko. Nabulag po ako, mabuti po ngayon kahit papano ay nakakaaninag po ako pero hindi ko po kayo nakikita. Ang tingin ko po ngayon ay parang ‘yung nilubog sa tubig na malabo ang tingin. Kaya ‘yun po sana suportahan niyo po ang aking album ito’y tulong niyo po sa akin parang awa niyo na po. Basta tandaan po natin lagi po tayong may pag-asa.”
April boy became famous during 90s. His first outstanding single entitled “Sana’y Laging Makapiling” which received a Gold and Platinum awards. his career in singing developed sucessfully and continued to produce songs like “Ye Ye Vonnel” and “’Di ko Kayang Tanggapin.”. he also sang the theme songs of the most popular teleseryes like pangako sayo and Esperanza.

His career grew and develops successfully but despite of his prosperous career he had several health problems that lead him to temporarily retire from performing. His first illness diagnosed that he had Prostate Cancer in 2009 but he was cured. Notwithstanding he was also diagnosed he had diabetic problem and heart illness that cause the singer to be blind. the singer undergone a surgery and eventually restored his sight and on that time he was able to embrace the love and the presence of God and made him realized that wealth has no value of you don’t believe in God.
