The well known dangerous scam namely “tanim-bala” consisting of putting of bullets in the victim’s bag, which after can be seen in the xray screener on the airport security. Then the very wise options to choose whether the victim will pay the bribe or will just end up to be investigated.

Lots have been a victim of “tanim-bala” scam that has going all around airports and now, Senator Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano and other important concerned groups had already filed a case against the four officials before the Ombudsman.

Preventive suspension of the said official who failed to make and go through, proactive, and preventive measures on the bullet planting incidents was asked by Cayetano and his fellow complainants, the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption and the Network of Independent Travel Agents.

Here are the list among of the officials that is supposed to be suspended for negelcting their duty are:

-Transportation Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya,

-Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Jose Angel Honrado,

-Office for Transportation Security Administrator Roland Recomono, and

-PNP Aviation Security Group Director Pablo Francisco Balagtas.
